All Work and No Play
January 4, 2007 at 2.00 pmWork is absolutely mad busy at the moment — it was expected, to be honest, but there was very little I could do about it in the run up to Christmas.
As it is, I’m now pulling long hours in the office, then taking my laptop home and getting a couple more hours done. Often with the cricket on the telly and a glass (or three) of wine in my hand.
As such, I’ve not had the time to blog my Christmas and New Year adventures, and don’t think I’ll be doing much blogging at all for the next two weeks.
Sorry, dear readers.

I am afraid that is normal for most nights for me during term time. So no sympathy here.

I’m impressed at you holding 3 wine glasses at once!

It’s almost like visiting a sick friend in hospital though - you hope there has been some progress but just end up reading everyone else’s get-well soon cards.

that’s a good analogy, Si. I like it.

Yes, definitely a good analogy. How come none of you have given me any Schloer, then? Or grapes? You’re all rubbish

since you didn;’t appear to be concious it didn’t seem worth leaving them on the side to go mouldy
